IT INVOKES THE LAYERS OF THE EARTH AND WHAT MIGHT LIE AT THE CORE OF SOMETHING IF WE’RE PREPARED TO GO INTO IT, PEELING IT BACK LAYER BY LAYER. ITS A VISCERAL REMINDER OF THE ONENESS THAT WE REMEMBER DEEP IN OUR PSYCHE AND OF THE FRAGMENTATION WE SEE EVERYWHERE IN THE PHYSICAL WORLD.
